What we do is simple in principle and precise in execution: we apply film to glass already in place, solving a specific problem - too much solar heat, glare in your eyes and on your screen, strangers looking into the room, or the security of the glass itself. The windows aren't replaced, the frames aren't touched, no redecorating is needed. A typical detached house or a small commercial property is finished in a day.

That light isn't hot, but it is a nuisance, and the answer is not a thicker curtain but a film that cuts the brightness while keeping the view.
The practical solution in both cases is usually either mirror film on the road side or a darker solar control film. If privacy is needed in the evening as well, with the lights on inside, the honest answer is frosted film - reflective films lose the effect after dark.

Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs along the Riga–Bauska corridor. For daytime privacy, mirror film or a darker solar control film works - from the road side the window becomes reflective, while the view from inside is kept. There is one limitation to be aware of: in the evening, with the lights on inside and darkness outside, the effect reverses and the window becomes see-through again. If you need privacy in the evening too, without curtains, the right choice is frosted or blackout film.
