We install window film in buildings throughout Riga and Greater Riga. Travel within the service area is included in the quoted price - there is no distance charge to budget for.
Our service area is Riga and roughly a fifty-kilometre radius around it. That boundary has not been drawn with a ruler - it simply describes the distance over which we can drive to a property, measure the glass, return with the film prepared and finish the job without the customer paying more for it.
In practice this means that a quote for a flat in an Ogre apartment block and one for a glass partition in a central Riga office are based on exactly the same price list. Prices start from €25 per square metre for solar control film, frosted film and mirror film; patterned decorative film from €29/m²; heavy-duty safety film from €35/m². All prices are excl. VAT and already include both the film and the labour. Distance does not change these figures.
The only thing distance affects is scheduling. In Riga we can often measure in the same week and carry out the work a few days later. For properties further afield in Ogre, Baldone or Saulkrasti we try to group several enquiries into one day on the road or, if the job is straightforward and everything has been settled on the phone, do the measuring and the installation in a single visit. That is more efficient for everyone.
If your address sits somewhere on the edge - beyond Ogre, past Sigulda or out towards Tukums, say - don't try to decide for yourself. Type the name of the place into the description field on the form and we will give you a straight answer: either we confirm that we will come, or we tell you that in your particular case it isn't practical. We won't promise a visit we can't deliver.
Each place has its own page describing the building stock there and what it means for window film. We also work in the smaller villages and homesteads in between - the list is a guide, not a closed set.
The right window film is dictated not by the name of the town but by the buildings. A standard-series flat in Purvciems, a new-build house in Mārupe and a sea-facing veranda in Jūrmala all need different solutions. Below are pages on each part of the service area, with concrete examples.
Standard-series flats in Purvciems and Pļavnieki, tall pre-war windows in the centre, glass new-builds in Skanste, ground-floor flats on busy streets, offices and shops.
Window film in Riga →Timber and contemporary houses by the dunes, large sea-facing panes, light reflected off the sand, overheating glazed verandas, and privacy from the beach path.
Window film in Jūrmala →Fast-growing private housing estates, large modern windows and patio doors, new-builds with no mature trees, home offices and young families.
Window film in Mārupe →A mix of private houses and smaller apartment buildings, properties surrounded by forest, conservatories and glazed terraces, and roadside houses that need privacy.
Window film in Ķekava →Towns on the banks of the Daugava, Soviet-era blocks alongside newer private housing, river-facing glazing with wide views and strong glare.
Window film in Salaspils →The largest town in the eastern part of our area: apartment districts, a growing private housing zone in the pine woods, shops and offices in the town centre.
Window film in Ogre →Newer suburban private housing, properties by the Gauja and the sea, modern architecture with large expanses of glass, family homes.
Window film in Ādaži →The process is the same across the whole area; it's just that outside Riga we prepare more thoroughly before setting off, so that the trip is worthwhile.
Tell us the place, the type of property and the problem. If your address isn't on the list, put the name of the village or municipality in the description - we'll check the distance and get back to you.
For properties further out we establish the number of windows, their approximate sizes and the floor over the phone. The more precisely you describe the room and the windows, the more accurate the initial quote will be.
In Greater Riga we plan call-outs by direction. That means we will sometimes suggest a specific day when we are already heading that way - usually the quickest option too.
Where the property allows it, we combine measuring and installation into a single visit. When the work is done we clean the glass and clear everything away behind us.
If summer heat is the main problem, start with solar control film or heat rejection film. If it's people looking in, frosted film or mirror film will help. For large glazed areas and shopfronts, safety film is the answer.
Prices for every type are gathered in one place on the prices page. If you're not sure what to choose, describe the situation on the form - we'll suggest an option and explain why that one.
Fill in the form - we'll call you, tell you whether we can come out, and give you a quote with the price per square metre.
The price per square metre, the range of films and our standards of workmanship are the same across the whole area. Preparing the glass, cutting the film to size and applying it follow exactly the same method in an office in Vecrīga as in a private house in Carnikava. Free measuring, and the fact that the price covers both the film and the labour, apply to everyone.
The way we communicate doesn't change either. Every enquiry comes in through the form, and we then call you back on the number you gave. On that call we go through the number of windows, the types of film and the total, so you know what to expect before we even set off - and you can ask your questions straight away.
Waiting times and flexibility change. In Riga, if a booking falls through, we can often fill the slot the same day. In Ogre or Baldone that doesn't happen - the call-out is scheduled in advance, and rescheduling means waiting for the next trip out that way.
The amount of preparation changes too. For properties further out we ask more questions before setting off: how many windows, which floor, do the windows open inwards, will a ladder be needed, is the glass a single pane or divided by glazing bars. That isn't red tape - it's how we avoid a second trip.
And the value of combining jobs changes. Several properties in one village or one building suit everybody, so if you know your neighbour has the same problem with their south-facing windows, send your enquiries in together.
We work in Riga and roughly a 50 km radius around it. In practice that covers the whole of Greater Riga - Jūrmala, Mārupe, Babīte, Ķekava, Baldone, Salaspils, Ikšķile, Ogre, Ādaži and Carnikava, as well as Olaine, Saulkrasti and Sigulda. The boundary is not rigid: if your address is a little further out, put it in the form and we will check.
No. Travel to your property anywhere in our service area is included in the quoted price - both for the measuring visit and on the day of the work. The price per square metre in Ogre or Jūrmala is exactly the same as in central Riga. No distance surcharge is added.
Yes. Free on-site measuring and a quote apply across the entire service area. To make the trip worthwhile, we call you after your enquiry and establish the type of property, the approximate number of windows and the problem you want solved before we set off.
The installation itself takes exactly as long - it is determined by the number and size of the panes, not by the address. The difference is in the planning: outside Riga we more often combine measuring and installation into a single visit, or schedule several nearby properties on the same day.
Very probably yes. The list names the larger towns and settlements, but we also work in the smaller villages and individual homesteads in between. If you are not sure, type the name of the place into the description field on the form - we will tell you whether we can come out.
Yes, and it is often the smart way to do it. If neighbours or several flats in the same building want film, we combine them into a single trip. It also helps you clear the €75 minimum order, which would otherwise be the deciding factor for a single window on its own.
Put the place name in the form - we'll give you a straight answer and add a quote if your address is in the area.
We have received your enquiry and will prepare a quote. We will call you on the phone number you provided.
