Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data we receive through our enquiry form, why we process it and what rights you have.

This privacy policy applies to the website logutonesanariga.lv and to the personal data you submit when you fill in our enquiry form. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (the General Data Protection Regulation, or GDPR) and the laws of the Republic of Latvia.

1. Data controller

The controller of personal data is the service provider trading under the brand Logu Tonēšana Rīgā, which provides window film installation services in Riga and the surrounding area.

All communication with us takes place through the enquiry form on this website. If you wish to contact us about the processing of personal data, please use the same form and state that your query relates to data protection.

2. What data we collect

We collect only the data you provide voluntarily when filling in the enquiry form:

  • Name - so that we know how to address you.
  • Phone number - so that we can contact you and provide a quote. This is the only communication channel we use.
  • Property address - so that we can confirm the property is within our service area and plan the measuring visit.
  • Property type (apartment, office, shop and so on) - so that we understand the nature of the work.
  • Service required - so that we can prepare an appropriate quote.
  • Approximate area - optional, so that we can calculate an approximate total.
  • Description - an optional free-text field in which you choose what to tell us.

Along with the form we also store the time the enquiry was submitted and the address of the page it was sent from. This helps us understand which service was being asked about.

We do not ask for or collect personal identity numbers, payment card details or other sensitive data. Please do not enter information in the free-text field that is not needed in order to prepare a quote.

3. Purposes of processing and legal basis

We process your data for the following purposes:

  • Preparing and sending a quote. Legal basis - taking steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Performing the service, if we agree on the work - the measuring visit, scheduling and carrying out the job. Legal basis - performance of a contract.
  • Meeting accounting and tax requirements, if the work is carried out. Legal basis - compliance with a legal obligation.
  • Analysing how the website performs and is used, in aggregated, anonymised form. Legal basis - legitimate interests or your consent to cookies.

We do not use your phone number for marketing calls and we do not build subscriber lists. We call only in connection with the enquiry you have submitted.

4. Retention period

Enquiries that do not result in a transaction are kept for no longer than 12 months from the date of submission. This period allows us to pick the conversation back up if the customer returns about the same property.

If the work is carried out, we keep the data relating to the transaction for as long as the accounting and tax legislation requires.

Once the retention period ends, the data is deleted.

5. Sharing of data

We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

Data may be processed via technical service providers who keep the website running, transmit the form data and provide communication services. These providers act as processors and may use the data only on our instructions.

Data may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires it.

6. Cookies and analytics

This website uses cookies. For more detail, see the Cookies page.

Analytics tools collect information about page visits in aggregated form. This data is not linked to any identifiable individual.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • be informed about which of your data is being processed, and to access it;
  • request the correction of inaccurate data;
  • request erasure of the data where there is no longer a basis for processing it;
  • request restriction of processing;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
  • lodge a complaint with the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia.

To exercise any of these rights, submit a request through our enquiry form stating what action is required in relation to your data. We respond within one month.

8. Data security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Access to enquiries is limited to those people who need it in order to carry out the work.
